<p>You should attempt to get a high score in one sitting rather than attempting to get high individual scores over multiple tests. </p>
<p>The best way to study for writing, from my experience, would be to practice writing! Attempt to use proper mechanics everywhere like on forums, e-mail, school assignments, and the like. </p>
<p>Oh, and try to learn as much about SAT writing as you can from prep books and do practice sections.</p>
