Dining cruise in San Francisco

Will be in San Francisco for a few days in July. I came across a dining option on a cruise. It is pricy. What is it like? Is it worth the price? TIA

I’ve never done it personally, but I think they are fairly popular. You can’t really go wrong watching the sunset over the Golden Gate Bridge

Happy to give other local suggestions, if you tell me your interests. If you like water and boats, it is humpback whale season. You can do a whale watching tour from Pier 39 which is really fun. I’ve done it a few times and have never been disappointed.

Have not been on a dinner cruise. Yes, popular with tourists. My thoughts are about the weather:
May Gray; June Gloom; July No Sky; August Fogust.
July typically is foggy in morning, sunny mid day, foggy late afternoon. Temps are cool (60-70’s) and can be breezy. Granted, you will be inside on cruise.
Personally, if you want to take a cruise to see SF Bay sites, I’d take a day time
ferry ride around…and have dinner at one of SF’s zillion great restaurants.

Agree with @gosmom.

Do other water activities like the ferry if you want to get out there; the food on a dinner cruise is in essence reheated catering that you’re paying high rates for because it’s on a boat.

And pack layers you can take off and on for SF because the chill (especially with the wind) will surprise you in the summer.

Sorry I was away. It has to be after 4-5 pm. I can’t take a day trip. Is there a sunset cruise without dining?
