<p>I guess it’s more important for grad students. Just leave it blank, except for high school put Diploma (I guess the other option being GED).</p>
<p>Not 100% sure, but that’s my guess. The date would already be covered from the “from-to” field.</p>
<p>I have put the date, since my diploma was issued two months after I graduated (I’ve only requested it then).</p>
