Diploma in Law or Law Degree?

<p>Hi, I’m thinking of pursuing a career as a solicitor and wondered given my background which course would be more beneficial. </p>

<p>I have a 2:2 non law degree should I do the diploma in law or choose a graduate entry onto the degree course. Which one is more favoured by employers? I realise a 2:1 degree is most favourable which is why I wondered if the degree would be better, of course i’d aim for a 2:1 and above. </p>

<p>I also work for a top media company doing online advertising trafficking of course nothing to do with law but media law interests me - would it be worth asking them for a sponsor? or would this be an option for law grads only umm…has anyone had any experience with getting a sponsor? </p>

<p>I’m really keen to get good grades as looking back my 2:2 was gained with minimum effort!</p>

<p>Huh? Do you realize that this is a website for applications to US law schools? I think, if I understand your questions correctly, you should be looking for a UK board to ask your questions.</p>
