<p>What’s your major and what do you want to do?</p>
<p>Employers can’t summon information from the university but some will ask for a transcript. Others will see it on your CV and take you at your word.</p>
<p>I just wanted to know what an employer ask for when we are looking for jobs.</p>
<p>So GPA is an important factor correct?</p>
<p>It depends on the employer and the field, hence my initial question.</p>
<p>A job at McDonald’s will have different priorities than a job at Morgan Stanley. Ditto with grad schools. Some care a lot, some not so much.</p>
