Directed study in AP Foreign Language

I’m currently enrolled in AP Chinese, Directed Study. I am in this course because I was on the usual language track, until everyone else in my class graduated -.-. This means that I am able to do whatever I want, as long as the teacher sees that I’m making progress.

However, neither she nor I know how to study for a AP test. There is also no book available yet. Should I read a textbook, or use a language-learning software?

most people who take ap chinese already speak chinese…but i think you should definetly try your best to listen to chinese a lot…and practice writing…take the old tests that are already out and see how you do…

where can someone find a copy of the previous ap chinese exams?

Look at the test format, and do as many practice questions as you can under those conditions. You’re not going to be able to have collegeboard questions, but getting the timing down is a big deal.

and this book comes out in january, might want to check it out.
