I’ve been told by 2 people who work in Admissions/Financial Aid that the U-M Director of Admissions is leaving Michigan for the same position in Vermont. He was a real good guy from my experiences with him at my school, very energetic and was a great representative for the university.

why???

Why not? Vermont is a beautiful state, I would love to live there.

Because money talks. He’s getting a deal he couldn’t pass up. Also, he has children and Vermont is a fantastic state for education and living in.

Vermont is gorgeous…especially the town and campus. The university is also one of the original Public Ivies. It is not as well known as Michigan, but I suspect a director of admissions wouldn’t attach too much importance to the prestige of the university they work for.
