I want to give credit where it’s due. @ucbalumnus just shared that CSUs aren’t just test-optional. They are test-blind! Cal State Apply doesn’t require any essays, either, so this next year should be crazy!
What a week!
The University of Illinois Chicago and the University of Illinois Springfield announced they are both test-optional. This is mostly notable because the state flagship, UIUC, said it will take the weekend and announce a decision by next week. Johns Hopkins announced they will be test-optional. I prefer giving you all a list, but then Yale announced it was going test-optional the news was too big to avoid sharing.
Thanks @geven and @ucbalumnus for bringing it to everyone’s attention that CSUs are test-blind. I figured it might help someone to have a separate test-blind list and made a different post.
