Disappointment

Does anyone else find themselves accidentally typing "there" for "their" and "they're" or vice versa and "your" for "you're"?

I do and I feel stupid every time I do. Comfort me. I want attention.

I almost always type "the" instead of "they"

son........................................i am very disappoint

jk

I normally make the mistake of typing your instead of "you're" or the instead of "they"

I also made grammatical errors on CC.

Examples:
-obtain and attain.
-more easier.

sleigh me!

I always have to think twice when I spell the word "definitely" for some reason that word looks wrong when it's written out...

Lol, yesterday I spelled accidentally like "accidently" and I was like o_O.

I hate when people can't spell or form grammar correctly. lol. This only happens to me after a normal person's bedtime.

^^ Orson Scott Card always spells it like that. It irks me immensely.

I can't usually spell 'separate'. I have to go, "seh-pahhhhh-rate," in my head.

And CPA, I always feel awful when I confuse their/there/they're because I get really angry at other people when they do it. I don't usually do your/you're though.

Well my brother (who got a 2040 on his SAT) always confuses a/an as well as their/there/they're, you/you're, are/our, and except/accept. I guess I used to make these typos often about two years ago but now it is very rare. I have been playing online mmorpg games where I communicate with people and using forums and the additional amount of typing has enabled me to be grammatically correct with less focus.

^Why mention his SAT score?

^Your on CC.

^You're.......................... :>

I do. But then I find relief due to the "Edit' button.

^Agree. However, it's too bad there's a time limit for the "Edit" button.

Splonk were did you go? You should post again.

Its worse when you confuse the conjunction form of "it is" with it's often-swapped-with friend the possessive.

Fortunately I review all my posts sheepishly for mistakes after typing up a post.

I kinda try not to make mistakes, but then I realize English is a language made up by a few blind guys with a German dictionary, so who cares? It's the only language constructed from leftover words and sentence fragments that other languages didn't want. The rules are completely arbitrary like the whole damn language so whatever.
