Discovery Internships or NYU Tisch Summer Program?

I’m a junior heading into senior year next semester, looking to major in film at USC or NYU, and for my “senior summer”, I’ve applied to two different summer programs: Discovery Internships and the NYU Tisch Summer High School. The only issue is, I have three days (!) to make a commitment on Discovery Internships, or wait until April to hear from NYU.

Which one would look better to a film school like NYU or USC? An internship (even an “arranged” one like through Discovery) with a small working production company, or the NYU summer program? Will either help with colleges?

The Discovery Internship is definitely not worth $6,000. NYU Tisch sounds like a much better option.

I concur with iceui2. Discovery Internships is a company, and while NYU just wants to make money, too, it’ll be much more educational.
