Discrepancy between DARSweb and Haas website?

For some reason, the prereqs seem a bit different between DARSweb and Haas.

 1. I have passed the Calculus BC exam with a 5. On DARSweb, I have completed my Calc requirements. For Haas, I still have to take Math 1B.
 2. On DARSweb, there is a requirement for Literature/Writing, which is not listed on Haas.

Hass requires at least one additional math course for those who got a 5 on Calculus BC. You may choose any from Math 53, 54, 1B, or 16B.

Other colleges, schools, and majors at Berkeley accept a 5 on Calculus BC as fulfilling Math 1A and 1B, which may fulfill the entire math requirement for some majors. I don’t know why Haas is weird about math requirements, since no UGBA course requires any math beyond Math 16A. The main effect appears to be to encourage Haas-aspirants to waste time and tuition repeating AP credit in math.
