Discrete Math

I’m a finance major here, but I’m thinking about going for a possible math minor. Is Discrete Math really hard or is it doable assuming I put in a decent amount of study time? I’m pretty good at math, I guess, but I’m not really good. I’m just taking lots of upper division math classes because I’m hoping it will help me get into a top MBA program.

probably extremely hard

325K is a proof based math course which some find very hard and some not as hard as applied math. I don’t know if all professors do but the one I had taught it with the Modified Moore Method where students basically teach themselves while being guided by the professor and a TA. I did not enjoy this course due to that and not liking proof based courses in general. If you are OK with proving things in math, this is supposed to be one of the easier courses.

^ What professor did you have?
