A college class normally takes one term. The length of the term can can change from school to school Some schools are on semesters (15-16weeks), some are quarters (10-11 weeks). It can even very at a school by time of year. A normal semester may be 16 weeks but a summer term may be 8 weeks. Some schools also have short class between normal term that may be 3-4 weeks.
