<p>Has anyone else had the experience of having a dishwasher vent damage their cabinetry? We had an old Kitchenaid that vented out the top, and it damaged the wood edge of our countertop. Had a new one installed today, and it vents out the side… also just 1/2 an inch from custom cherry cabinets. Does anyone have a suggestion for how to protect the wood (either a sealant or some kind of thin barrier to install)?</p>
