Disneyland motel

D and her BF want to go to Disneyland for one night over spring break. Any suggestions as to how to best find a good priced motel. I was thinking hotwire. any tips?
They want something that would have a shuttle to the park.
Thank you

Priceline and hotwire are both reasonably priced options, but generally no cancellations or changes allowed. Sometimes I do better with hotels.com and can even cancel up to 24-48 hours prior to arrival, giving more flexibility. Like the full buffet breakfast and some places have manager’s receptions that serve dinner as well (have stayed at such places near IAD).

A site like hotels.com will give you a lot info to work with, like a more exact distance from Disney than hot-wire. Most of the hotels, if they are a little ways away (like a mile) have shuttles, but it is pretty easy to check for that on hotels.com. And you can read the reviews to get more info. The hotels closet to the park aren’t necessarily the nicest, but adequate I think if you don’t need fancy. I have, so far, always had good luck using hot-wire, but I always go for 3 stars or better. A friend of mine likes the Anabella hotel, FWIW. I have never stayed there, so couldn’t say, but prices look reasonable.

I will look at Hotels.com. I did look on Trip Advisor and have given them a couple of places to check. It looks like they can get a decent price for the area at a Quality or Comfort Inn that they could walk to the park. The BF is in the reserves so I think they might do okay with a military discount via booking direct with a hotel.
Will look up the Anabella.

Yes, sometimes you can get great deals by direct booking, especially if you can get military discount. Be sure to check cancellation policies and parking rates, if you’ll bring a car. Have fun!
