I have to answer income questions and even though my income is low I am not below the poverty line, and I am concerned this will affect the generous financial aid package my son has received each year prior.

I think FAFSA asks for your AGI on q. 85 & your earning income on q. 88. The nontaxable Social Security disability income shouldn’t be reported on these questions.
