Distance Learning

I’m considering taking about 10 distance learning classes through the American School of Correspondence during the summer to raise my GPA. Right now it’s about a 3.6, but I’m confident I can get my GPA to either a 4.0 or really close to a 4.0 if I take these classes.

My question is, do you think this is a reasonable way to increase my chances of getting into Columbia? Or Would they view it as a dedication to learning or slightly obsessive?
