can anyone share their experience with marist? is there diversity? is it welcoming? thanks.
Marist is a very welcoming community. I transferred here during the middle of the school year, and within days I was able to join clubs on campus and make friends. As for diversity, we have wonderful programs created by the Center of Multicultural Affairs to spread awareness of different cultures and promote the importance of diversity. The most current statistic for students of color at Marist is 23%, but with each passing year the percentage is growing. I hope this helps!
That is really wonderful to hear as Marist is on our list to go visit for daughter. But I was hesitant as the reputation seems to be very white and preppy. So it sounds like this is changing?
