hmmm, I suppose I wouldn’t mind taking each of the sections 3 different days, If they will permit it.

fatigue does indeed become a limiting factor for many of us, so I suppose this could only help students :-/.

man class of 2006 are the guinea pigs =(

wow. i would LOVE if they approved this. i usually give up after the 7th section :P.

this is also in the featured discussion on the college discussion homepage.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=126655

the fact is that most people probably would do better on the SAT if teh sections were on different days but the test is also testing your indurance and concentration to last through a long test…if the collegeboard didnt want to test you on this aspect then they would have made it a lot shorter and/or on seperate days

I will be livid if they go through with it… I’m class of 06 and UCs only take highest scores in one sitting. Because of this I lost a very high writing score when I retook the SAT and improved math and reading, but got lower in writing.

If we have to go through it, so should every class following 06!!

If they do this, SAT scores are gonna go up, and it’s gonna become even more competitive then it already is. I like it the way it is now.

i agree, scores would definetly increase, and also, 3 hrs 45mins isnt very long considering we do get two 5 min breaks and a 1 min break for each section, also if time is a big factor you might as well go back to the old SAT subject writing, its the same thing pretty much
