Do a Fafsa correction push back processing date?

I submitted my aid app on 1-1. it was processed on 1-3. today I had to make a change to update my mailing address, does this push back my app to people who just applied today or will I still be at the top of the list from 1-1?

You should be fine. It was already processed.

The initial processing date always shows even when you make an update. The school will see both the initial date and the date of the change. If a school processes aid in the order the FAFSAs are received, the initial filing date of the first processed “good” FAFSA is used (if the FAFSA is rejected - say it’s missing a parent signature, for example - the initial processing date will be the date the rejection error is resolved & the first good transaction is processed).
