Do a FAFSA SAR for $1 off?

LOL I was $1 off on my AGI estimate on my sons Fafsa estimate. I now have all forms and wonder if that is worth a SAR or a revision on the original FAFSA for a $1 difference.

hm I am thinking no.

You need to go and change to “already completed” from “will file” for your taxes. when you do that…put in the correct numbers from your taxes. it will take you very little time to make those changes.

OK so clean it all up is what you are saying.

but, just for a future reference, if there are no changes to your numbers you do not have to go back and change will file to already filed do you?

Some schools will not disburse aid when the status is “will file” without verification. Others will.

Haha! I was in this exact situation with CSS PRofile. Because it’s so hard, and they want my tax forms anyway…I chose NOT to correct for $1 (at CSS, my FAFSA I did correct because it was a little farther off, based on WHEN I did each of these estimates).
