<p>I was wondering if Admission Committees scope out eveything you put on your ECs? Not that I would outright lie about something, but maybe tweak some things to make it look like I was more involved?</p>

<p>i heard most of the times they don’t, because lets face it, for about 20,000 applicants with an average of 4 ec’s each… thats 80,000 ec’s to check up on in about 3 months’ time. but when something looks fishy they might check up on it.</p>
<p>Nothing you can “tweak” without getting cought will help you anyway. You should have some major (state/national level) accomplishments in your ECs to have any effect on your admissions chances - and you better not try “tweaking” those…</p>
