I’m really sorry if this is a n00b question. If there are answers at a different thread or site for this question that I’ve not yet encountered, then please provide and I will prod no further.

If I give an adcom an internet link on my resume as part of my application (linking to a webpage of my artwork or to a youtube video I made that I’m really proud of), do the adcoms even bother checking out the link?

It depends on the college and how many applications they get.

They’ll probably check it out if you’re on the borderline or if they’re extremely curious. However, if they have lots of apps and there are other more important factors, they’ll just note that you have a website and leave it at that.

Print out the pictures or burn the videos to CD/DVD (depending on what they accept). They are more likely to look at it if you present a physical object to them.

I think they will look at if you present it as extras or new evidences after you get waitlisted.

Provide a cd is great, but make sure it is autorunning with good presentation quality and does not require a lot of efforts to find some thing on it.

If you are not absolutely certain that it showcases your best talents, don’t waste adcoms’ time.

If I were sitting at my desk reading my thousandth application in the middle of a Monday morning and I took the time to access a URL only to find some random page, I would not look so favorably at the applicant in question.
