a group of three students used to bully me so i eventually told the principal and they were all suspended. they basically still bother me but its pretty obvious they hate me

their parents even met with mine to say something of the sort that i did something wrong. anyway…

3 of the 6 parents work in (insert local ivy university) admissions (i know…ew)

can that hurt me in any way? i know i cant do anything but for peace of mind, do admissions officers see your name?

Yeah… but there are many, many other great colleges to choose from. Go ahead and apply to that colleges, but it could hurt you at that one. So make up a list of matches, a couple of safeties, and a few reaches that are a good fit for you and don’t worry about this one.

How badly do you want to get into this particular school and how viable a candidate would you be?

This might be worth a shot (a longshot, but a shot nonetheless).

Have your guidance counselor include a letter with your transcript detailing the entire situation and requesting (by name) that the particular parents involved not participate in reviewing your application due to a conflict of interest.

It could backfire, but if your chance of admission is a longshot anyway you have nothing to lose.

I think you’re “qualified”.
Unless you’re a recruited athlete or legacy, you’re chances are not “great.”
But… they are pretty darn good.
I think you really should try the letter from the guidance counselor.
