Do all colleges give more consideration to transfer from community college?

<p>I’m thinking of transferring to NYU or USC, but I don’t know whether to go to community for 2 semesters and then apply or go straight to a medium university like pepperdine. I got rejected from NYU and i probably wont get into USC either. help!</p>

<p>No. I assume you’re talking about a state schools system in terms of giving preference. Most private colleges do not give any such preference, but a few like Stanford save a few transfer spots for CC students.</p>

<p>ive heard that USC does…but i havent searched for proof yet. NYU told me that they don’t but sometimes they just say that.</p>
