Hello,
I am aware that this might be a dumb post, but here is my situation: I am a current hs freshmen, but I am applying to boarding schools to reclass. I obviously don’t know if I got in yet, so nothing is definite. However, my freshman year semester 1 grades are mostly okayish.
Honors bio: A-
English: A
History: A
Honors Latin: A-
Art: A
Accelerated Geometry: B
I also currently go to a rigorous, all girls day school
If I do end up reclassing, will these first grades from the repeated year go to schools that I apply to when I’m a senior? Also, do these grades seriously affect my chances (mostly the B, which is primarily due to anxiety and testing stuff) of getting into a good school? Especially a school like Notre Dame.
I’m so sorry if this is redundant or not allowed
Do all of my high school grades get reported to schools (Reclass)
Yes. But one B in 9th grade won’t keep you out of college

These grades are perfectly fine, especially for freshman year when many students can struggle in the transition to high school, and especially for a very rigorous day school. If you can maintain or even raise these grades, you will position yourself to be competitive for any university.
I hope you have or are getting help for this. There is treatment available and it can be quite effective. Don’t suffer needlessly as the stress tends to increase in high school - make sure you have tools available to manage it.
You are on a good track already. Keep going, challenge yourself, do your very best, and find things you enjoy doing outside of class.
Good luck with your applications - I hope you land somewhere wonderful.
