Do American Universities accept HSK scores?

Hey guys, I am taking Chinese class at school. (not Chinese)
I want to show that learning languages is my strength, but I didn’t have chance to take AP or Subject Test. I heard I can take HSK (Chinese Standard Exam) in August, so my parents recommended me to take it.

So my questions is, do universities accept this score?
Does Common App have anywhere for me to submit this score?

*HSK is my only way to prove my Chinese proficiency since I will be applying for early decision.

Thanks

The Oct SAT subject test sitting is probably accepted for ED. Just inform the school that you’ve taken the Oct test, and the scores are pending.

@GMTplus7 That’s what I hoped for, but apparently Chinese test is available only once a year which is November…

You would need to contact each school individually to ask about the HSK.

Since demonstating proficiency in a foreign language is NOT a requirement of admission for any American school that I am aware of, I’m not sure what your objective is.
