Do they really count in admissions? As much as SAT, and SATII? And is a 4 considered a good score by top schools?

Just don’t count on APs to get you in.

Well here’s my situation: I have very good SAT scores, and I’m pretty sure my SATIIs will be very good as well (around 750 for everything) I’m just worried that since I’m only submitting one AP score, a bad one would do a lot of damage…

It really depends on where you got that 4 in. I wouldn’t worry too much, that one 4 won’t hurt you as much as the fact that you only have ONE AP score to submit. If you’re school doesn’t offer that many AP’s, then that’s fine, but I would have focused on getting a harder cirriculum. 4 is nothing to be ashamed of. I got a 1 in AP Spanish and I’m still holding my head up high especially since I’m going to go to a TECH school. If you happened to get that 4 in some relatively easy AP such as a Calculus and you’re applying to a top tier engineering school, then I would be a little concerned. They’ll focus more on your SATs.

this is AP USH
