<p>Azerbaijan is technically in Asia. So you should specify what you mean by “Asian”. I am Lebanese and I consider myself Asian. Of course, Eastern Asia, Central Asia and Western Asia are very different from each other, but they are all in Asia.</p>

It’s kinda hard. Politically it’s East Europe, and we participate in European sports competitions e.t.c. And we look more like tanned caucasians. I was about to write ‘East Asian girls’, but that could be too specific</p>

<p>Azerbaijan is not really like Europe. Culturaly and politically, it is more like Lebanon and Israel, both of which are Asian. We are not as transparent, open and democratic as Europe quite yet, although we are making strides in that domain. But none of that matters. Geographically, we are Asian. There are no degrees when it comes to physical geography…only absolutes.</p>

<p>Yeah. I agree with you, besides the capital. Capital is quite advanced, but country isn’t multi polar - once you get out of the capital it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere</p>
