I’m thinking about enrolling at either PCC or SMC, did they ask you to submit HS diplomas to verify if you graduated back when you applied?

Thanks you guys.

No they do not verify unless you change answers to questions the. You will be selected to submit an ability to benefit form.

Hey matt thanks a lot. I’m sorry but what do you mean “change answer to questions the?”

They don’t verify you graduated, they believe what you say on your application under date of graduation and so on. However, you can clear prerequisites for some classes using classes you took in high school. For example, at my cc, if you took 1 year of high school chemistry, you could go straight to “college” chemistry, without having to take prep chem classes. Also, if you took a foreign language in HS, you can use it to fulfill the foreign language requirement in IGETC. In cases like these, the cc will request an official copy of your HS transcript. :)

Uhm like if you gave vague or unclear answers or changed an answer on your application for admission, or on subsequent paperwork such as FAFSA, BOG waiver etc…

They only ask for it if you’re under 18 I believe
