So, I just got back my scores from my accredited self-study of Differential Equations and I ended up getting a B, in contrast to my A in Calculus 3 (mainly due to time management issues). Will this affect my future college transcript and/or the transcript that goes toward medical schools admissions? I just took these courses in my junior year of high school.
Yes for med school admissions.
Probably not for the 4-year college transcript. If (and that’s a big if), they accept credit, they may record the credit with no grade. But that’s college-specific, so you can ask the registrar of the college you’ll be attending.
Regardless of transcript policies at your destination college, all college grades are included for med school admissions
@skieurope Wow, guess I’ll have to make sure to get as many A’s as possible then.
Yup. That’s the danger that many potential pre-meds either forget or did not know.
Additionally, as you apply for colleges next year, you may need to provide your CCP transcript to admissions even if you do not get credit from the HS. Again, colleges vary on what they require,so double check before you click submit.
If the classes were college credit classes, then you will need to have that college send official transcripts to every place you apply to next year.
In addition to med school, that community colleges grade will follow you for any other professional school (law?) or grad school, should you change focus.
