Do colleges blacklist you

Do colleges blacklist students? Meaning if you were accepted by a college and decide not to go there but later on you decide you do, does that make a decision in there new acceptance?

no…

no…

Schools do not blacklist you. Everytime you apply, it’s a new application. However, some schools will hold your admission for a period of time even if you don’t accept an offer of admittance. DD received a very nice letter from her second choice school (she wrote them a nice letter saying she was not accepting their offer, but that the decision had been a difficult one to make). They wrote her back that her acceptance would be held for a year and she was welcome to attend their school should she change her mind about her choice during that year. We thought that was mighty nice.
