My daughter would really love to stay at her out of state university but may need to take loans to do so and is trying to avoid that at all costs. She has applied to an instate college just in case she isn’t awarded any scholarships at her current college. My question is will her current university’s scholarship board see that she has applied elsewhere and be less likely to award her scholarships since it seems she doesn’t want to stay? In addition she is in the Trojan Transfer Plan and wants to see that application through just because it was her dream. Again will this make her not look as committed to her current school which she really is?
