<p>I did very well on one of my writing scores for the ACT and got a 12 on that portion of the test, but overall my subcategory scores were lower. Should I still report this exam to the colleges I’m applying to, highly selective schools such as UChicago and Northwestern?</p>
<p>The Northwestern Admissions Officer told me a month ago that they don’t care too much about the writing score if it is average (8,9,10), but that it will definitely help you if it’s higher!</p>
