<p>One of my teachers doesn’t check her school email address and uses gmail only. Should I still list her official school email address just because it is more professional? The colleges don’t email the teachers, do they? Thanks.</p>
<p>Oh, just another question about selecting teachers. I am Cantonese Chinese and have never read/write Chinese before taking Chinese nor did I speak Mandarin. I have three recommenders: my Mandarin teacher, my psychology teacher, and my physics teacher. Most colleges ask for a math/science and a humanities. Psychology is technically social science, but in my school it is in the biology department. Do you think I should use psych/physics combo because I don’t know how strong my Chinese teacher’s English is? I’m also slightly afraid of sending a rec from a Mandarin teacher since I am Chinese. I also have a supplementary rec from a research thing I did involving molecular biology, if that should be taken into account when selecting my recs cause I don’t really want 3 sciences getting sent.</p>
