do colleges factor in improvement?

<p>I recently received my 5th report card that colleges will see:</p>

<p>report card number-overall weighted average</p>

<p>1-91
2-89
3-90
4-92
5-99</p>

<p>As you can see, I made a huge leap between report cards four and five. My gpa cannot possibly go higher than 3.8ish (if I’m lucky), but will the rapid improvement compensate?</p>

<p>What is 5th report card in terms of semesters? Junior year?</p>

<p>report cards in my school are distrubuted in january and june each year. so i recieved 2 in 9th grade, 2 in 10th and this one I got as a junior.</p>
