<p>many people who are concerned about getting rescinded for less-than-stellar grades in 1st semester (as well as those who will be getting less than stellar grades 2nd semester) of senior year are suggested by others to call their admissions office. I’ve told this to some who have posted threads concerned about their grades. But do colleges really give you a straight answer, meaning that if you tell them over the phone what you project your grades to be for the semester, will they say “yeah you’re in danger of being rescinded with that kind of drop in grades” or “no, you’re just overreacting”?</p>
