Do colleges look at all ACT scores?

<p>I am taking the ACT for the first time in December. I was looking online at ACT requirements for UF and it says:
“On the ACT With Writing, a minimum score of 19 on the Reading section, 19 on the Mathematics section, and 18 on the English/Writing section.”
Why don’t they look at Science scores? Won’t those count in your composite score? Do we have to take the Science test if we aren’t applying for a Science Major?</p>

<p>I emailed my teacher, but am curious to know what you guys have to say.</p>

<p>You can’t just skip taking the science section because the ACT requires you take the whole test, not just the sections you want. So if you take the ACT you must take the whole test. </p>

<p>UF will still look at your composite score and science section score because admission is competitive. They just don’t have a set minimum score for science.</p>
