Do Colleges Look At Middle School Records

Do admissions officers look at middle school records, like middle school grades, middle school attendance and behavior records, or your browsing history in middle school?

Absolutely not. Unless you’ve done something noteworthy like get kicked out of school, colleges will only really focus on your high school transcript and accomplishments.

Okay, but do they look at things like your social media and browsing history from middle school?

I can’t even fathom how an admission committee would look at a student’s “browsing history“ from 4-6 years ago.

My kids took classes in middle school that were reflected on high school transcripts.

Tough time seeing how schools would look at browsing history ever (at least outside of searches on university networks). Or social media for that matter from 4-6 years ago. But it is true that what you post online can have a history of its own. Be thoughtful about what you post.
