I got my transcripts in my parachment account from my high school and in the bottom left corner it has my SAT scores. Do colleges look at the SAT scores on my transcripts or the SAT score I send them from college board?
The SAT scores on my transcripts are not the ones that I want colleges to see because they are not as good as the ones I have recently took that are on my college board account.
Won’t the parchment account also have your most recent SAT scores?
Also…some colleges don’t give you a choice…you MUST submit all SAT scores you have taken.
I want to go to central Michigan university, so they don’t require all SAT scores, but I want them to look at my highest SAT scores that aren’t on my transcripts, so will colleges look at the SAT scores I send them through the college board for admission.
So tell me…why won’t the higher score also be ON your transcript? Most colleges consider the highest scores only…even if lower ones are submitted.
So…get that higher score on your transcript too.
Yes the college will look at SAT scores you submit from the college board. Why don’t you have those sent now…and your transcript from HS later.
You could ask the HS to remove the SAT score…but good luck with that! We tried, and our school would NOT remove the score from the transcript…even when a student was applying to test optional schools.
@romanigypsyeyes any pearls of wisdom I’ve missed…in terms of Michigan colleges.
They only care about your highest score. They don’t care about you lowest ones. Nothing to be concerned about. CMU has a 70% admission rate and an 1140 SAT average, so I would not be all that concerned if your scores are low as long as your GPA is fine.
