Do colleges look down on you if you don't take AP tests?

I’m a junior taking AP Bio, AP English Lang, AP Calc AB, and APUSH. Based on how I am currently doing in those classes, I feel that I should be able to pull off 4s and 5s. However, I don’t feel like shelling out $86 for each test. Now, my family is in the range where I wouldn’t get a fee waiver, but I am planning on not taking the APUSH test to save some money. Yet, if colleges see my self-reported scores for the other three APs, but none for APUSH, will they think that I am hiding a low score? I have a 99 or a 100 in APUSH, so will colleges expect me to take the AP test and do well on it? Inevitably, I’m sure some of you will say that colleges do not consider AP scores until you have been accepted, but I’m hoping to be admitted into a BS/MD program, and it seems like any extra credential would be beneficial. However, I have heard that, if I am admitted, some programs do not consider AP credits and direct you to follow a strict curriculum, so the money I might save from getting a 5 on the AP test might not ever transpire. Plus, not studying for APUSH would mean I could spend more time preparing for the other three subjects and ensure high scores for them. What should I do? Stick it to the money-grubbing College Board and forgo the APUSH test, or take the test?

take the test- in the scheme of things $86 is not much compared with what you will pay for college and med school. I would definitely take the test if I were you.
