Do Colleges look more at COMPOSITE or BREAKDOWN?

<p>I’m sure it depends on the college; I’m interested specifically in top tier universities.</p>

<p>Most top tier schools, ex. Ivy League, etc, look at both composite and breakdown. If you look on their websites, they tend to post the 25th and 75th percentiles of both the composite and breakdown of their admitted students. Thus, both are factored in.</p>
