<p>I am wondering if colleges prefer for the essay to be non-academically related. i ask because my main choice for my essay is Writing about my experiences with latin in my highschool. my grades began to slip as the subject got harder (honors courses) and eventually even to a D one semester when everyone urged me to drop it. But i knew I could do better and I came back junior year, 10 times as dedicated to the challenge and earned A’s both semesters in A.P. However I’m afraid colleges may not want a school-related essay…</p>
