Do colleges record phone calls?

Do colleges record conversation you’ve had by phone with them, and if so, do they tell you that the conversation is going to get recorded or do they just record it without telling you? Do they listen to these conversations when they decide whether to accept you or not?

I don’t think that’s legal at all. Are you trying to say you lied about something on your application that doesn’t match up with what you said on the phone?..lol I’m not too sure what you’re asking.

No need to feel paranoid, college admissions people don’t have the time to record every single prospective student that calls them. It’s far from being cost effective.

IF they recorded your conversation that you had, then that shouldn’t be the school you decide to attend. Imagine going to that college and having big brother lurking…that doesn’t sound like an academically conducive environment. It sounds alot more like Jail. lol

Take a deep breath, grab some mountain dew, recline on the lay z boy and watch some South Park or Family Guy.

Good Luck!
