CAHSEE- California High School Exit Examination. I don’t know if I should study this or not. Do colleges even see/consider these scores? I would suppose not, but I just want to make sure because I don’t want to do that bad on an easy exam lol… I’m planning to study a little(like 1-2hours) before the exam.

I think you just gotta pass. On my transcripts, it lists “CAHSEE- Passed” and thats it. On another page, it does have my scores though, but I still don’t think its a huge factor. Just pass that thing and be done with it.

cahsee is so easy. i passed it my soph yr; yet there are so many seniors who struggle to pass it…

umm, it’s designed for sophomores with basic, limited knowledge of algebra 1 and how to write a basic sentenance, nobodyjay. that’s why you passed it. it’s not the SAT’s.

uh like i said, as easy as it already is, i dont uderstand why the seniors (who were once sophomores if you havent caught that) didnt pass it.
i mean by all honesty, its obviously not the sat’s which i figured.
and what’s a “sentenance”?
never heard of that before.

No. Think about it: does it tell the college anything about you? It just says you can pass a very basic examination, whose purpose is simply to let you to graduate high school. If you’re already a very good student / intelligent, you’ll do really well without having to study. I didn’t study and got a perfect score on math and a 440 something on the English. It’s pretty easy.

Hmm okay, I think I will just study a little and focus on the concepts that I’m unfamiliar with or have forgotten. Thanks for your responses.

Please, please don’t waste your time studying for this stupid test. I got a perfect score on both sections without ever studying one bit. Its so easy to pass. In my class of 600, only 2 did not pass.

At my school, if you pass, your transcipt just shows perfect scores. Seriously, it’s stupid easy. In fact, all the ELD kids passed at my school so it shouldn’t be too much of a struggle.

At our school, it is the ELD kids who have a hard time passing the English portion of the CAHEE, the math portion seems to be better. Do other states have exit exams like California?
