I am a junior in high school and currently taking Honors Physics. At my school, the accelerated science track is as follows:
9th grade - Bio H
10th grade - Chem H
11th grade - Physics H (plus option of taking an AP Science)
12th grade - AP chem, bio, or physics
I only take honors physics this year due to schedule conflicts. However, this year is the last year that my school will be offering honors physics, as next year it will be replaced with AP Physics I. I am very frustrated about this because by the time I apply to schools, colleges will see that I did not take the highest Physics class offered. However, for my school year, I did take the highest class offered!
Will colleges understand that I am still on the accelerated science track? Will colleges even see what the accelerated science track is at my school?
Thank you.
