Do community colleges accept everyone?

Do ALL community colleges accept everyone? Or Is there maybe a cc that doesn’t accept everyone

I can’t answer about ALL community colleges, however each California CC’s sets their own admission requirement (check this website: Apply). Our local CC’s accept anyone 18 and over, or those under 18 who have completed the high school exit exam or GED, and high school students (concurrent enrollment).

How do you guys do your recruiting process

Would like to know too. Planning on going to sbcc but don’t even know whether I need to have my ged or something else

SBCC requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 18 years old or older (or in high school and attending concurrent). All the info is on their website - [Steps to Enrollment: Apply to College - Santa Barbara City College](http://www.sbcc.edu/apply/apply_to_college.php)

And here are SBCC phone numbers that may be helpful if you have other questions - sometimes it’s easier to just pick up the phone and ask them directly! [Admissions & Records: Welcome - Santa Barbara City College](Admissions and Records - Santa Barbara City College)

I have my GED, 1 “O” level English pass and 3 “N” level passes( English, Maths,science ).

Is SBCC is 100% acceptance as Long as I meet the criteria type of community college? I have heard that CCs in general have a 100% acceptance rate(not put anything financial as a factor)

I am an international student and I am new to the community college system

Also, I will be applying in 2016 as I have to serve NS(army, navy or AF) in my country for 2 years. Do I start applying in 2015 or…??

You should (or perhaps have already) checked out SBCC’s International students website
[International Students: Welcome - Santa Barbara City College](http://www.sbcc.edu/internationalstudents/) , also [F-1 visa international students studying abroad at Santa Barbara City College in California, USA. - Santa Barbara City College](<a href=“International Students - Santa Barbara City College”>http://international.sbcc.edu/) - at the top of the last website yo can click on the topics (“about”, “visa”, “services”, etc) for further information (which will probably answer your specific questions). According to this SBCC website [International student application checklist for F-1 visa holders who want to study abroad - Santa Barbara City College](<a href=“International Students - Santa Barbara City College”>International Students - Santa Barbara City College) for the CURRENT year, if you were to apply you would have to apply by June 1st for the fall semester…perhaps this information will remain the same when you apply in two years. You should recheck the website regularly to see if there are any changes.
