<p>So, for the UC application in the spot that it says “list courses that are not required by the UC”, I have heard that those are classes you take outside of school. I’ve been taking classes on coursera.com that demonstrate my interest in science. However, I never try to fully complete the class, because I they make you do some really intense and unnecessary things to “complete”, and I just want to learn the subject not get the certificate. Therefore, my status on each class says 0%, certificate not awarded. Am I still allowed to put down those courses (obviously like more than halving the suggested time commitment, since I didn’t do everything) on the application? I’m not gonna say that I completed the courses, but just list them.</p>
