Hello,
I am wondering if the CSU’s wait until every test score is in to look at your application. I have indicated on my app that I will take the december ACT. I’m applying to CSUEB, SFSU, SSU, SJSU, CSUF, and SDSU. SSU and SDSU do not have the “send test scores” on my portal to-do list, but the rest of them still have that. I also have a friend that just got accepted to CSUEB and he is not taking any more tests. Thank you
update: I just asked my friend that got accepted and he is still taking an SAT and he has not even sent scores in
SDSU only accepts up to the November SAT/ACT sitting so your December scores will not be considered.
@Gumbymom got it. i’ve sent in my previous SAT’s already. will the colleges wait until I take my ACT to accept/reject me or can they accept/reject me even before I take it?
For the non-impacted campuses (EB), they will accept you based on your self-reported GPA and test scores as long as you meet the minimum Eligibility index. For the impacted majors/campuses, they will wait until all scores are in so they can superscore your tests and determine your Eligibility index. They then rank you based on major and EI and start accepting from the top down.
My three were accepted within a month, based on their test scores and GPA, but . . . . . . they were local and from the attendance area, so that might have made a difference.
