Do EA Int'l students get accepted often?

<p>Maybe that’s a stupid question but I’ve found a few students throwing this “Deferred to compare with other int’l students in the regular applicant pool” phrase thrown around. How much truth is there to that? Further, do international students who apply EA have a higher or lower chance of getting accepted? (going by admissions statistics alone - I couldn’t find them but perhaps I didn’t look hard enough)</p>

<p>rule of thumb EA slightly improves ur chances. doesnt matter if ure international or not. what i will say tho is having an extra few months to sort out your applications will improve ur chance too.</p>

<p>case-by-case im sure in some instances ppl may be deferred to benchmark against other candidates. but quite clearly not all.</p>
